Little Explorer's Room
(6 weeks - 2 years)

Our newly refurbished (Dec 2016) Little Explorer's room has been created to have a home from home feel so that babies feel secure within our environment and find it easier to settle and separate from parents and carer's.

It is an open plan room that has been set out in areas so that babies have places not only to play and explore but also rest when necessary and carry out their care routines.
Babies also have the opportunity to explore and participate in messy activities and sensory play. Activities are planned around each individual child's development needs and their interests. Out doors Little Explorer's have their own undercover play area where they can build on their physical development further whilst enjoying the country fresh air.

We have a very loving and caring team that run the Little Explorer's room. They strive to build strong relationships with parents/Carer's through using a Key person system, and ensuring they are meeting the needs of the babies by following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
